soak fruit in salted water for 1 to 2 hours to remove bad bacteria (1 Tbs salt in large bowl)
Rinse to remove salt.
Simmer fruit for 1 hr with water and lemon juice.
Add sugar and then bring to a boil, boil for 5-10 mins.
Do wrinkle test.
Pour into hot clean jars and seal
